We comb it with a plastic pic in the bath while the conditioning shampoo is in (and then I retwist with conditioning crème afterwards). Every few days I would wet his hair, then put in leave in conditioner, pic it through, then oil it with argan oil, then put in a conditioning cream to finish (the LOC method).
