First World Problems: Matching Easter Clothes

Do you do matching clothes for you kids?  There's just something adorable to me about seeing all my kids look the same but I'm only willing to go to the trouble of finding them matching clothes twice a year:

Christmas

and Easter
Easter 2016

Last year mint was the "in" color and I was able to zoom right up the center aisle of Target and find clothes that matched  for all the kids.  This year, my kids would tell you horror stories of long trips to the store, going back and forth between the boys, girls, and baby departments trying to find something that matched in all their sizes (7, 5, 4 and 18m).
After multiple unsuccessful trips, I finally found shirts for the boys and a dress for Sky that all have similar colors:
Done and done!

So why did I call this a first-world problem?  Because none of my friends and family In the Marshall Islands would have wasted their time trying to find matching clothes, they just would have picked out fabric and made them:

  1. Oh my gosh! I just had to comment on this post. A) cat and Jack makes it sooooo easy to find matching clothes for all kids. They even have a mother daughter line coming out this Sunday (I know too much, I work there). B) I love your spin on the first world problem. The matching fabric is so simple. And you can get whatever style you want. I wonder why this hasn't become more popular stateside!

    1. Hi Abenaa, I really like Cat and Jack too, and Target clothes in general, but for some reason, I just couldn't find anything that matched this season. Thanks for the tip about the matching mother/daughter clothes- I'll have to look for those!

    1. Thanks Renee! I love doing it but the kids only put up with it a few times a year, at least if it's dressy. If I can find matching super hero shirts, the boys will go for it any time.
