Monday Moments

 Earth and I had a fun Monday, visiting family on Ebeye and playing with friends on Kwajalein.

  After a slow morning at the apartment, we headed over to our family's house to catch up

 Elizabeth had made some new animono and earrings and showed them off (she gifted me with a pair too- see the top photo). She is amazing!

 Earth got to spend some time with Jobe and play in the yard

 We went back to the apartment and Earth colored in a new coloring book

 while I started a new bible study before making lunch.

After lunch, we caught the boat to Kwaj and headed to the Cultural Center for the Manit Day celebrations.  They had an "um", a traditional earth oven pig roast

  and a bunch of other delicious food.

We watched the weavers,

listened to music,

and saw the dancers. 

 (Okay, let's be honest- I did all those things while Earth ran around with his friends!)

Later that day we met up with more friends at the Worldwide Day of Play hosted by the Teen Center

 Earth and his friends raced through the inflatable obstacle course over and over again.  He had so much fun and didn't want to leave

 We managed to squeeze in a quick spiderman painting on his hand and then it was back on the boat for Ebeye

  Earth was asleep as soon as the boat left the dock!  Busy fun days help the time away from our family pass faster so I'm extra thankful for them.
