Date Night

 

Just the two of us...

  It has been a very long time since D and I have had any time to ourselves to just catch up and then talk about nothing important.  Dates weren't possible during the short time that we were together in the States before we flew back to Kwajalein and then our situation over the last few weeks didn't lend itself to alone time.

D and I have been married for 13 years and together for 15.  It's been a wonderful, challenging, amazing roller coaster of a life and I wouldn't trade it for anything.  

While we sat and watched the sunset, we reflected on the last year and everything that led to us returning to Kwajalein and what we thought the next few years here would hold.  It was a great way to reconnect with each other and I'm hoping we can make these date nights a regular thing.

And that sunset, it was pretty great too:
