First Day of School

School started yesterday!

  The fact that I was going to miss the kids' first day of school was something I really mourned when D and I made the decision that Earth and I had to leave the US.  I love the first day of school and make a big deal about it, decorating the dining room and making a special breakfast and dinner.  I know that we have to be here so that Earth can go home but I hate missing these little moments in their lives...

  On a happier note, look how much bigger the kids look since the start of school last year!
