Sky's first Band Concert

Sky had her first band concert!  She hates having people pay attention to her so she was pretty nervous leading up to it but of course she did great.

I know Sky would be happiest if she never had to leave her Legos or her room but I'm so glad they incorporate Band into the curriculum here.  It's the push that Sky needs to come out of her shell and try something new.  She's actually pretty good at playing music but doesn't want to push herself to do more than the minimum that's expected of her and having music be a requirement at school helps encourage her to try.  I'm so proud of Dky for overcoming her nerves and getting up on stage and playing with her classmates!
