Pumpkins in the Fridge

 My fridge is full of pumpkins right now...

Between the time it takes to get pumpkins here and hot, humid weather, pumpkins don't always last long enough to be carved.  We had some bad luck with pumpkins rotting before we could carve them and gave  up for a while after that (ghost-conuts, anyone?)  

But this year, the store was selling half-size pumpkins, which are still big enough to carve but small enough to try keeping in the refrigerator until just before Halloween

Kwaj is a unique place and sometimes you have to think outside the box. I really hope this works out!  The kids are excited to carve pumpkins this year and they're almost all old enough to do most of it on their own.  Stop back for my Halloween post to see how my experiment worked!
