Happy Birthday Water!

 This super boy is 3!

Water turned three last week and got three birthday parties to celebrate.  The first one was at a friends house- she has a big family and we headed over there for dinner with cake afterwards.  Water is best friends with her youngest son and all her bigger kids adore him.  T's house is one of Water's happy places so it was a great way to kick off his birthday celebrations.  Later that same weekend, we had our family and some friends over for a little party at the house.  We had Water's favorite food for dinner (pizza) and then brought out the remainder of the cake from his earlier party.

Water was excited about every presents but this giant tub of cheese balls and a set of super hero masks and capes were his favorite gifts

On the night of his actual birthday, we took everyone out for ice cream

  Water is still in the 100th percentile for height and weight and is way ahead developmentally.  He's still the sweetest and most outwardly affectionate of all the kids and is happy 95% of the time.  The other five percent he's angry and non-compliant because apparently we get the terrible threes with this one instead of the terrible twos.  He's almost fully potty trained and will be starting preschool in January.

Water, you are a light to our family!  We love you so much and can't wait to see what the next year holds for you.  Keep on shining, sweet boy!
